The breakaway northern region of Somaliland has announced plans to hold elections for three parliamentary seats on January 24.
On January 21, Somaliland’s State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) announced the seats that would be up for grabs in Monday’s polls.
The seats are HOP#037, HOP#238, and HOP#244.
SEIT is to start registering delegates for the upcoming polls on Friday.
Thereafter, the Somaliland electoral body would then take the delegates through training on Sunday, January 23.
