Somaliland is committed to finding solutions to the soaring inflation.
President Muse Bihi Abdi said this late last week.
He spoke while launching 130 new buildings in educational facilities around the country recently.
President Bihi added that the buildings cost $6.5 million to construct. His government paid $4.5 million.
“Inflation has made the situation much worse for our workers,” stated Bihi in his address.
He mentioned that inflation had reduced the purchasing power of most workers by 20 percent.
“We shall introduce new measures to forestall inflation within the next week,” he assured.
