The government of Somaliland congratulated Taiwan as it celebrates the Happy Lunar New Year on February 14.
According to Taiwan’s calendar, 2021 is the Year of the Ox.
Somaliland, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wished the people and government of Taiwan a new year full of “good luck and happiness.”
On its part, Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to Somaliland for the warm messages.
Taiwan’s foreign affairs ministry wished the people of Somaliland, which it called its “Horn of Africa partner,” a Happy Lunar New Year too.
It also stated that it looks forward to close cooperation between the two nations.
Taiwan promised to work closely with Somaliland to promote freedom, development, and democracy throughout the New Year and beyond.
