The Somaliland National Electoral Commission (NEC) has officially awarded Certificates of Candidacy to candidates for the upcoming presidential elections.
Over the weekend, NEC issued the certificates to the candidates from the three national parties for the upcoming election scheduled for November 13, 2024.
Those awarded certificates will give for the right to become the new President and Vice President of Somaliland.
This marks a significant step towards the election, ensuring that all candidates are officially recognized and eligible to participate in the race.
