Abdi A. Heirsi, the Head of Somaliland Mission to the United Kingdom, held a meeting with Taiwan’s Ambassador to the UK, David Lin, on October 21.
The two representatives discussed wide-ranging issues.
Top on their agenda of issues to discussed was the need for Somaliland and Taiwan to build lasting relationships with each other.
Recently, Somaliland and Taiwan have established diplomatic ties among themselves.
Mid this year, they both agreed to set up Representative Offices in each other’s territory. They already established those offices.
Moreover, they have deployed Representatives in those offices.
Ambassador Mohamed Hagi is Somaliland’s Representative to Taiwan while Ambassador Allen C. Lou is Taiwan’s Representative to Somaliland.
