Somaliland’s COVID-19 National Secretariat and Coordination Center has received a report detailing all the aids and grants that the country has received to fight the virulent disease.
The report details all the financial aid the organization has received since its inception. It also evaluates the equipment and grants that the committee received.
Most of the assistance the committee received was in the form of alms and grants.
Donors included international governments and organizations. International non-governmental organizations sent their donations too.
Donations from local non-government organizations, multinational companies, the government of Somaliland, and local individuals also appear on the report.
The administration of President Musa Bihi Abdi created the committee to oversee the handling of COVID-19 in the country.
