The Somaliland National Electoral Commission (NEC) has suspended all campaign activities in Ceel-afweyn.
Announcing the suspension on Friday, NEC said it took the decision to create a peaceful environment in the area.
This decision comes amid heightened tensions, ensuring that the electoral process remains calm and stable.
Somaliland is currently preparing for presidential and parliamentary elections on November 13.
