Somaliland has sacked the Minister of Public Works.
President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland announced the sacking of Abdilahi Aboko as the public works minister with immediate effect.
Aboko’s sacking was publicized on January 4.
Over the years, Aboko has been widely acclaimed as one of President Bihi’s most loyal supporters and ardent allies.
He had also been one of the longest-serving ministers in Bihi’s administration.
Previously, he had also served as the Minister of Roads and Transport.
