An official with the Somali Research and Education Network (SomaliREN) has traveled to Cairo, Egypt to attend the e-AGE22 conference.
Engineer Mohamed Ahmed, a board member with SomaliREN, traveled to Cairo for the conference on Tuesday.
Eng. Ahmed also doubles as the President of Jamhuriya University in Mogadishu.
The Egyptian Academy for Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) has organized this year’s conference.
Eng. Ahmed made a presentation on behalf of the organizations he represents and Somalia.
In his presentation, Eng. Ahmed focused primarily on the experience SomaliREN has in building Somali Research and Education Repository.
