Garowe, Somalia – The Somali community in Denmark has donated a fully equipped computer lab to the Abudwak campus of the Somali National University (SNU), significantly enhancing the institution’s educational infrastructure.

The donation marks a major step in supporting higher education in Somalia, especially in the regions outside Mogadishu.

Officials at the Garowe ceremony praised the diaspora’s contribution, highlighting its impact on improving students’ access to digital learning and modern academic resources.

University representatives expressed gratitude, noting the lab will benefit hundreds of students and support efforts to expand digital literacy and research capacity at SNU’s regional campuses.
