Somalis caught up in the Ukrainian war have been urged to visit their embassies in Brussels and Berlin for assistance.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised the Somalis on this on February 25.
It issued a press statement asking the Somali nationals to visit the Embassy in Brussels and the one in Berlin for evacuation assistance.
The statement also mentioned that the foreign affairs ministry is working on establishing the routes through which the Somalis would be evacuated from Ukraine.
Further, those who visit the two embassies are assured of essential consular services.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) advised its citizens in Ukraine to be vigilant and carry their national identification documents with them at all times.
