The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Somalia has announced the commemoration of World Day for Decent Work on October 7th, 2024, in Mogadishu.
The event will focus on the theme “Promoting Decent Work and Building a Sustainable Future for All.”
Decent work involves creating job opportunities, ensuring workplace safety, providing comprehensive social protection, and fostering social dialogue.
This initiative aligns with global efforts to enhance labor conditions and contribute to a more equitable and sustainable future in Somalia.
