Mohamed Dubo, the Director of Somalia Investment Promotion Office (SOMINVEST) has urged the government to hire qualified communications directors for all ministries.
Dubo made this call on December 24.
He said that each of the 26 Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) ministries need qualified communications directors.
This way, public communications and clarity would improve significantly.
Dubo, who has also served the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Constitutional Affairs as the Strategic Communications Advisor, is an experienced communications director.
He said that all independent institutions in Somalia must have qualified communications directors too.
In his view, these Directors of Communications must then report to an Independent Director of Public Communications.
Dubo believes that this would be the most successful public communications model.
