The Special Envoy for Migration and Children’s Rights was at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu to receive young Somalis rescued from human traffickers in Libya.
Mariam Yassin welcomed the young Somali nationals home on Tuesday, September 27.
They had been in captivity in Libya for a long time until the Somali government came to their rescue and returned them home.
The young Somalis could not hide their joy and relief at being back home.
