The Special Envoy for Drought Response in Somalia visited Benadir Hospital in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Abdirahman Abdishakur, appointed the Special Envoy for Drought Response by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited the hospital to spend time with over 200 children.
The malnourished children are admitted to the hospital to receive treatment.
The ongoing drought in the country has exposed millions of children in Somalia to malnourishment and other ailments.
Abdishakur continued appealing to international partners to help Somalia avert what threatens to be a massive humanitarian crisis.
