The federal Minister of Youth and Sports has traveled to Addis Ababa to support the Somalia U17 national football team.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud traveled to the Ethiopian capital on Friday.
Mohamud is Somalia’s youth and sports minister.
He will lead the country in cheering the young boys who will meet their counterparts from South Sudan in the finals.
The two teams will play in the finals of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) on Saturday, October 15.
Somalia U17 qualified for the finals after beating Uganda in the semis.
On the other hand, South Sudan beat Tanzania to reach the finals.
