Somalia’s Minister of Youth and Sports has arrived in Ethiopia ahead of the finals of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) U17 finals.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud, the sports minister, led a delegation of Somali officials to Addis Ababa where the CECAFA U17 finals take place on Saturday.
The Somali U17 team will be playing against South Sudan U17 in the finals.
The Somalis defeated Uganda 8-7 on penalties while the South Sudanese beat Tanzania in the semis to qualify for the finals.
