The federal Minister of Youth and Sports launched the construction of a new football stadium in Galkayo.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud, the federal youth and sports minister, laid the foundation stone for the construction of Abdullahi Isse Football Stadium.
The launching ceremony took place on Thursday, October 13.
Mohamud announced that the Constructors will start building the stadium, which is in Galkayo in the Mudug region, with immediate effect.
