The Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) was in Nairobi to check on AU troops receiving treatment.
SRCC Souef El-Amine visited the injured troops on June 2.
El-Amine also serves as the Head of the AU Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
He visited the ATMIS soldiers injured in the May 26 attack by the militants at Bulo Marer.
El-Amine commended them for the bravery they displayed during and after the terror attack.
