The leader of the SSC-Khaatumo region received a warm welcome when he visited Villa Somalia on Friday.
Abdikadir Firdhiye, the SSC-Khaatumo leader, received a warm welcome from President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The President was in the company of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre
Firdhiye briefed President Mohamud and Prime Minister Barre on the current situation in the region. The region has been beset by unending war for much of this year.
President Mohamud urged Firdhiye and other SSC-Khaatumo leaders as well as residents to maintain the stability of the region.
