The leader of SSC-Khatumo and a few Chinese diplomats met in Mogadishu to discuss development aid.
Abdikhadir Firdhiye, who leads SSC-Khatumo, was in the nation’s capital for the meeting and subsequent discussions with Chinese diplomats.
Chen Wendi, the Acting Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, led the delegation from China in the meeting.
Firdhiye urged the Chinese officials to be at the forefront in advocating for increased development aid to SSC-Khatumo.
He commended the Chinese government for being the first country to donate financially to the people of SSC-Khatumo.
