A sub-committee of Somaliland’s House of Representatives held talks with members of the Promotions of Virtue and Prevention of Vices (PVPV) committee.
They held talks on measures to take to reduce vices such as blasphemy and immorality.
The use of narcotics in different parts of Somaliland also featured prominently in their discussions as did associated unwarranted vices.
Discussions at the meeting took place under the leadership of Barkhad Jama Batuun, the Chairman of Parliament’s Shariah and Family Affairs committee.
