Ambassador Ali Abdi Aware, representing Somalia in Egypt, met with Sudanese officials, including Foreign Minister Ali Yusuf Al-Sharif and Sudan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Gen. Emad Eldin Mustafa, at the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday.
The discussions emphasized the strong historical ties between Somalia and Sudan and the positive reception of the Sudanese community in Somalia.
The Sudanese Foreign Minister provided an update on Sudan’s current political situation, while Ambassador Aware underscored the importance of enhanced cooperation in various sectors and expressed appreciation for the constructive engagement.
This meeting reflects the continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
