A man suspected of murdering seven Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers has been arrested by security officers in the country.
On Thursday, December 10, a man was arrested in central Somalia over the murder of the seven soldiers.
Ali Dahir Eid, the Deputy President of Galmudug State, confirmed the news to the public via a media interview.
Deputy President Eid confirmed that the suspect was arrested in an operation that helped security officers to rescue two soldiers.
The arrest and rescue mission took place on Thursday night in Galgadud region.
Eid sent his condolences to the families of the deceased officers.
The soldiers were killed on Wednesday evening during a raid reportedly carried out by suspected members of Al-Shabaab militia group.
