Suspected Al-Shabaab militants launched a massive attack against an Ethiopian military base in Bakool.
The militants attacked the military base, which is in Bakool’s Hudur district, on Thursday evening.
According to sources, the militants fired 10 mortar shells at the military base.
However, several local residents mentioned that the Ethiopian army at the base responded with artillery fire.
The casualties from the incident remain unknown as at the time of going to press.
