Sweden and Somalia have agreed to pursue stronger ties in trade and investment.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre and Ambassador Per Lindgärde met and discussed wide-ranging issues touching on their nations.
Lindgärde, the Swedish Ambassador to Somalia, visited Barre at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu on Thursday.
They started by reviewing recent developments in Somalia-Sweden bilateral relations.
Next, they highlighted the importance of promoting trade and investment in Somalia as a pillar for sustainable development.
