Sweden has pledged to continue supporting the healthcare sector in Somalia.
This revelation came forth during a meeting between Dr. Ali Haji and a delegation from the Scandinavian nation.
Dr. Haji is the federal Minister of Health.
The Swedish delegation visited him at his office on Wednesday, September 14.
Per Lindgarde, the Swedish Ambassador to Somalia, led the delegation from Sweden to the meeting with the health minister.
Both parties announced that the Wednesday visit was a familiarization meeting.
