A Taiwanese diplomat visited the offices of the Somaliland electoral commission in Hargeisa.
Allen Chenhwa Lou, the Taiwanese Ambassador to Somaliland, was at the offices of the National Electoral Commission (NEC) on Wednesday.
He held discussions on wide-ranging issues with the commission’s officials.
They briefed Amb. Lou on the preparations the commission has made for the upcoming elections.
NEC officials thanked Amb. Lou and the Taiwanese government for supporting the various elections conducted in Somaliland over the last few years.
