Taiwan’s Representative Office in Somaliland has donated humanitarian supplies to local communities in the region.
It donated the supplies in conjunction with Somaliland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on March 23.
The Representative Office said that the donations were from four Taiwanese non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Ambassador Allen Lou, the Taiwan Representative to Somaliland, said that Taiwan donated $500,000 to the National Drought Rescue Committee (NDRC) in February 2022.
The NGOs that donated the humanitarian supplies were Step30 International Ministries, Caozhongzhi Foundation, Pu-Hsein Educational Foundation, and SimplyHelp Foundation.
