Taiwan has accepted a request from Somaliland for the construction of an airport road in Hargeisa.
The agreement between the Minister of Transport and Road Development of Somaliland, Raabi Abdi Mohamed, and the Mayor of Hargeisa, Abdikarim Ahmed Mooge, with the Government of Taiwan marks a significant step in improving infrastructure in Hargeisa.
The agreement was revealed this week.
The cooperation involves constructing and upgrading the road leading to Hargeisa Airport, which is expected to enhance accessibility and boost economic activities around the airport area.
This partnership is part of a broader effort to strengthen ties between Somaliland and Taiwan, focusing on infrastructure development and mutual cooperation.
