The technical committee formed by the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS) is scheduled to meet in Mogadishu yet again.
The 14-member committee already held its first meeting in the nation’s capital a few days ago.
On March 18, it also met for the second time at Decale Hotel in Mogadishu.
FGS and FMS formed the committee as part of efforts designed to find solutions for the months-long electoral crisis.
Furthermore, the committee is also tasked with identifying barriers that prevent the nation from holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
As the members of the committee meet on Thursday, they would be discussing contentious issues revolving around the upcoming polls.
Additionally, they will be laying the groundwork for broad-based talks between various stakeholders.
The broad-based talks are scheduled for Mogadishu next week.
