The technical committee appointed after the second round of talks in Dhusamareb met with national leaders on Monday.
The committee’s meeting with national leaders took place on the sidelines of the main session between Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
During the meeting, the technical committee received recommendations from the wide array of leadership representing various stakeholders in the electoral process.
Somalis have invested massively in the upcoming elections.
After the meeting, Minister of Constitutional Affairs, Salah Jama, briefed the public through the country’s media on their deliberations.
The latest round of talks is expected to provide the highly anticipated electoral model that Somalia would rely on for the upcoming polls.
