The Minister of Telecommunications and Technology praised the emerging collaboration between the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) and the Somali Bank Association (SBA).
Telecommunications minister Mohamed Adam Moallim Ali highlighted the importance of this partnership in advancing the country’s digital economy and improving financial services.
Speaking on Monday, Ali added that the collaboration will enhance the implementation of national identification systems, as a means of facilitating secure and efficient banking transactions.
The minister emphasized the significance of this initiative in fostering financial inclusion and strengthening the overall economic infrastructure of Somalia.
