Ten people lost their lives in an explosion that rocked Mogadishu on Saturday.
Reports from the region indicate that those killed were all innocent civilians.
Security agents confirmed that the civilians died when a car fitted with an improvised explosive device (IED) blasted through the Hawo Abdi neighborhood.
Nine individuals died on the spot while the tenth one passed away while receiving medical treatment.
Many more suffered injuries in the shocking incident.
Most of the injured and the dead were taken to Mogadishu’s Madina Hospital.
