The Galkayo Peace Book Fair was launched on October 12.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud, the federal Minister of Youth and Sports, launched the book fair in Galkayo on Wednesday.
Other senior federal government officials accompanied him during the launch.
These included Adam Aw Hirsi, who is the State Minister for Environment and Climate Change.
Officials from the regional states of Galmudug and Puntland were at the annual peace book event too.
