Thirty-Eight Patients Admitted in Wajid Hospitals over Acute Diarrhea

Thirty-eight patients are currently admitted to different hospitals in Wajid District to receive treatment for acute diarrhea.

Health officials in the region confirmed to the media that 38 patients reported to the hospital in the last 48 hours.

Doctors advised that they remain in the hospital for easier monitoring, efficient treatment, and as a means of preventing further spreading of the disease.

Sadly, health officials were quick to announce that the facilities are ill-equipped to treat patients diagnosed with acute diarrhea.

They suspect that the increased number of patients diagnosed with acute diarrhea is a direct result of the ongoing drought.
