Three Al-Shabaab militants were killed during a military operation carried out in the regional state of Southwest on Monday.
Sources from the region said that regional security forces and the locals teamed up to carry out an operation against the militants.
Eventually, they succeeded in killing three of the militants.
The clash that led to the killing of the militants took place in a village known as El-Gadudow, which is in Qansah-dhere District.
Locals told the media that the militants extorted money from them repeatedly at El-Gadudow.
