Al-Shabaab militants executed three men in El-Buur District. The extremists had accused the men of spying for the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
According to the Al-Qaeda linked group, the three men had been working with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and regional governments’ troops.
The three men were identified as Bashir Ahmed Abdulle, Bashir Mohamud Dharow, and Ahmed Nurow Mohamed, who are aged 50 years, 22 years, and 23 years respectively.
The killing came two weeks after Al-Shabaab executed six men in Jammame District. Moreover, it is the third time that Al-Shabaab has executed Somali men in 2020 alone.
