Three people lost their lives in Mogadishu as explosions rocked Somalia’s capital city on Tuesday, October 12.
According to a police officer, who spoke to the media on condition of anonymity, a suicide bomber blew himself up last evening.
The incident took place in Yaqshid, a Mogadishu district.
Several people at the scene suffered different types of injuries. They are now in hospital after being rushed there for medical attention.
Earlier in the day, one officer with the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) lost his life in a landmine explosion.
Two bodyguards lost their lives too in the same incident, which took place in Daynile.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the two incidents.
