Three Federal Member States (FMS) received a donation of thermal scanners from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Somalia.
On December 6, the Director Generals from the Jubbaland, HirShabelle, and Southwest health ministries were in Mogadishu to receive the donation.
They were in the company of officers from the federal Ministry of Health.
The donation that was only possible courtesy of the World Bank’s Contingent Emergency Response Component Project-Somalia Crisis Recovery Project (CERC-SCRP).
Consequently, thermal scanners will now be readily available at regional state hospitals.
