Three soldiers lost their lives in elections-related clashes in Puntland.
The clashes, which took place in Garowe, caused tens of injuries too. Several soldiers were rushed to hospital for medical attention.
Soldiers who died or suffered injuries in the Tuesday clashes were from the Puntland Maritime Force (PMF).
At the time of the incident, the soldiers were transporting election materials.
The circumstances that led to the deadly clashes remain unclear.
