Top religious leaders from Somaliland have issued a call for an immediate ceasefire in the clash-ridden city of Las Anod.
The clerics called for a ceasefire on Monday.
They spoke at a press conference that took place in Hargeisa.
In their presser, the religious leaders rallied behind the implementation of a ceasefire with immediate effect.
They reminded the warring parties of the fact that Islam prohibits the shedding of the blood of any Muslim.
