Top Somali clerics have condemned Al-Shabaab for carrying out a deadly terror attack on Hayat Hotel on Friday.
The clerics condemned the attack, which took place on August 19, at one of Mogadishu’s most popular hotels.
Some of the clerics included Sheikh Ahmed Salad and Sheikh Abdulkadir Somow.
Others are Sheikh Ali Wajis and Salah Sheikh Ali.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mukhtar Robow, the federal Minister of Religious Affairs, also spoke out strongly against the attack.
Robow, a former Al-Shabaab leader, called for a united front in the fight against Al-Shabaab militants.
