The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) has approved the official voter register.
TPEC concluded the voter registration exercise a few days ago.
On Sunday, it announced its approval of the voter registration list.
The approval now paves the way for the region to prepare for the upcoming elections.
Puntland will hold one-person-one-vote (1P1V) local government elections (LGEs) this year.
