The Chairman of the Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) met with representatives of political parties in the region on November 7.
During Monday’s meeting, Abdirisak A. Said, the TPEC head, briefed officials of the region’s political parties on several issues.
First, he brought them up to speed on the recent assessment of voter registration centers in Puntland.
He also provided them with more information on the polling station centers, which the electoral body recently assessed.
TPEC is preparing the region for the upcoming local government elections (LGEs), which are due before the end of the year.
