The Chairman of the Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) held a meeting with international donors in Nairobi.
Abdirisak Ahmed Said, the TPEC Chairman, traveled to Nairobi for a series of meetings with various stakeholders.
His meeting with the international partners took place on May 10.
During the meeting, Said briefed the donors on the milestones that Puntland has achieved in the democratization process.
He also spoke about the preparations TPEC is making for elections in the remaining districts.
Thus far, TPEC has conducted successful local government elections in three districts.
