The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) held public consultations on the upcoming local government elections in Garowe.
The public consultations took place on Sunday night at the Garowe campus of East Africa University.
Abdirisak A. Said, the Chairperson of the TPEC, led his team in the engagement with members of the public.
They engaged the public in discussions on the upcoming local government polls.
Puntland is scheduled to hold one-person-one-vote (1P1V) polls soon.
Said and his TPEC team answered questions from the public and other stakeholders on the voter registration exercise too.
