Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) has encouraged governors and district commissioners (DCs) to work for the success of democracy.
Jamac Farax, the Vice Chairperson of TPEC, said this on February 26.
Farax spoke as Puntland – and the entire nation – prepare for upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections soon.
The TPEC Vice Chairperson issued a rallying call to the regional administrators as part of the ongoing sensitization campaign.
TPEC has been widely praised for preparing for the upcoming polls adequately.
It has already installed state-of-the-art technology for registering the details of each voter and avoiding manipulation during the actual polls.
