On Wednesday, the Turkish government delivered a donation of medical equipment to a hospital in Central Somalia.
The government donated the equipment through Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TICA), a state-run humanitarian aid agency.
TIKA donated an X-Ray machine to Galgaduud State Hospital in central Somalia.
The hospital provides essential medical services to a region with a population of more than 500,000. It also caters for the needs of those living in the nearby settlements.
Galgaduud State Hospital is the largest public medical facility in Dhusamareb, Galmudug.
TIKA’s latest donation is part of its efforts and programs designed to enable and improve healthcare systems in several African countries to provide quality services.
