Turkey opened testing laboratories donated by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) at Mogadishu University.
Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz, Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, presided over the donation of the world-class laboratories to the University.
The laboratories are for the Civil Engineering Department at Mogadishu University.
The laboratories, which are the first of their kind in the country, are for testing construction materials, water, asphalt, and soil.
Ambassador Yilmaz and officials from the university and the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) attended the opening ceremony of the laboratories on Thursday, November 26.
